William Fry is delighted to offer a great on site gym to employees.
Managed by our vendor partners Fit For Life* we have an on-site Fitness and Wellbeing Coach who will be in the gym for a number of hours per week
to help you with anything to do with fitness and health related issues. To contact the Gym email email@example.com
The gym is open 24 hours, 7 days per week. You may use the gym anytime before/after work or at lunch time. It is also available for use on the weekends. The only time access is limited is when classes are being run. You may still use the gym when personal training sessions are taking place.
HOW TO JOIN
In order to join the gym, you must attend for a 30 minute induction course. Once you have attended an Induction your Access Card will be activated for access to the gym.
To get started all you have to do is set up an account on the online system. Please follow these simple steps:
The gym is supervised by a Fitness and Wellbeing Coach on the following days:
Tuesday: 12.00pm – 3.00pm
Thursday: 11.00am - 2.00pm
ONCE OFF PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION
Our assessment procedure includes:
Health history screening, girth measurements, body fat testing, weight & height.
Following the initial assessment, a customized exercise programme will be designed for you. Each programme is designed to meet your particular requirements, desires and goals.
We will demonstrate each exercise and have you perform it yourself so we can make sure you are completing each exercise with the correct technique and weight load.
(Home programmes are also available)
We recommend you refresh your programme every 4 to 5 weeks with us to ensure you are always progressing.

4 WEEK KICK START PROGRAM
This takes the once off session to the next level. We will start by helping you to set personal goals and targets. Your Fitness and Wellbeing coach will work with you through the 45 minute exercise programme once a week for 4 weeks to keep your motivation and skills at the right level.
After the 4 weeks are over, you get a plan to complete on your own with a monthly check to update your plan and measure your progress.
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to avail of the kickstart programme you will need to book a recurring appointment on the system for 4 sessions. You must enter an end date- for example if your first appointment is on 2nd July you adjust your end date on the system to be set for 30th July. This will add 4 sessions into your schedule.

GYM CLASS TIMETABLE
We will need everyone to book in for the gym classes as spaces are limited to 12 people. CLICK HERE to view the timetable and book in for your class. There is a cost per class (which has been subsidised by the Firm) and you will be able to pay for a class course of 8 weeks when you book on the system.
Below is a description of the classes available.
Monday - 13.00-13.50- PILATES FUSION
This class combines body-toning rounds of Sun Salutations with strong standing poses, blending the benefits of two extremely popular disciplines, yoga and pilates.
Enjoy the benefits of Yoga and Pilates which include improved flexibility muscle strength and endurance, strong and toned abdominals, long and lean muscles, improved balance and enhanced relaxation and stress release. No muscle is left untouched!
This is course suitable for all levels.
Wednesday - 17.45pm – 18.45pm- CARDIO CORE
Our Cardio and core class is designed to get your heart rate up by using combinations of different cardio exercises and styles and combing this training with pilates style core and stability training so that you get a great all round class.
Thursday - 13.00pm-13.45pm TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING BLAST
This class includes a great mix of upper, lower & middle body segments, interval led with powerful non choreographed cardio cycles of skipping, circuits, and plyometrics. Blast away boredom with this high-energy workout that builds & sculpts muscle as well as improves strength & endurance.
Friday - 12.50-13.40-VINYASA FLOW YOGA
These classes are a delicate blend of beautiful VINYASA sequences, focused connecting the breath with movement resulting in a beautiful flow.
Each class builds on the next creating a continuous arc of growth and development in your body & mind over the course of 8 weeks.
Classes are physical but you'll always receive modification options to work at your own pace. These classes are fun, we focus on breath, alignment and work at an enjoyable pace.

HEALTH, WELL-BEING & AVOIDING INJURY
William Fry or Fit For Life shall not be liable to any person for any damage or injury however caused arising from the presence in or use of the gymnasium.
If you are unsure of your medical wellbeing, or if you have a recent injury, please consult your Doctor before using this facility.
If you feel breathless or dizzy, stop using the equipment immediately.
In the case of an accident or problem with the machinery, please contact the Gym Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Medical questions should be directed to any first aider listed by the telephone. In the event of an accident you must complete an ACCIDENT REPORT FORM and submit this to Facilities.
The Ladies and Gents changing rooms are equipped with showers and a hairdryer. When you are using these facilities please bear in mind that there are a lot of people using them on a daily basis, so please remove all of your belongings after you have finished. Please do not leave wet towels there to dry, pack them into your bags as you are leaving and leave the space clean for others to use after you.
GENERAL HOUSE RULES/GYM ETIQUETTE
There is a stereo and TV provided for your convenience. Please do not have the Stereo so loud that it is disturbing anyone at work.
Other things to remember
- There will be paper towels and water containers provided for you to wipe down the equipment after you have used it.
- Please carry a towel at all times.
- When using the mats or free weights, put them back after use.
- No food should be brought into the gym at any time.
- Use the correct footwear at all times, do not work out in the gym in bare feet.
- It is mandatory to wear flip flops in the shower for hygiene/safety purposes.
- Please keep the gym and changing rooms tidy at all times.
- There is a cctv camera in the gym for health and safety purposes.
