William Fry is delighted to offer a great on site gym to employees.
Managed by our vendor partners Fit For Life* we have an on-site Fitness and Wellbeing Coach who will be in the gym for a number of hours per week to help you with anything to do with fitness and health related issues.

OPENING TIMES

The gym is open 24 hours, 7 days per week. . It is also available for use on the weekends. The only time access is limited is when classes are being run. You may still use the gym when personal training sessions are taking place.

HOW TO JOIN

In order to join the gym, you must attend for a 30 minute induction course. Once you have attended an Induction your Access Card will be activated for access to the gym.To get started all you have to do is set up an account on the online system. Please follow these simple steps:

Fill in your contact details and online screening form & create a login password then click create account

Click the 'Sessions Available' tab across the top and you will see the times when Gym Inductions are available. Select a time that suits. You do not need to be changed into gym gear for the induction.

The gym is supervised by a Fitness and Wellbeing Coach on the following days:

Monday: 11.00 - 15.00

Tuesday: 7.00-10.00 & 12.00 – 14.00

Wednesday: 11.00-14.00 & 17.00pm - 19.00


Thursday: 17.00 - 19.00

GYM CLASS TIMETABLE

Please note: The classes are held in the gym and the gym equipment will be limited for use during the times of the classes. Please try to schedule your workouts outside the times of the class if you do not wish to take part.

We will need everyone to book in for the gym classes as spaces are limited to 10 people. CLICK HERE to get to the booking system.

Below is a description of the classes available!

Monday - 13.00-13.45- PILATES MAT

This class combines body-toning rounds of Sun Salutations with strong standing poses, blending the benefits of two extremely popular disciplines, yoga and pilates.

Enjoy the benefits of Yoga and Pilates which include improved flexibility muscle strength and endurance, strong and toned abdominals, long and lean muscles, improved balance and enhanced relaxation and stress release. No muscle is left untouched! This is course suitable for all levels.

Tuesday- 7.45- 8.30 - ROTATING FORMAT 

These classes will change format every week to target specific areas of general fitness.

 Each class will cover general aerobic work to keep the heart & body healthy with an additional focus on a specific area to include:

A focus on the core muscles of the body, leading to better posture & shape to reduced risk of back pain focus on a proper weight training routine designed to shape & sculpt the body focus on HIIT / interval training focus on mobility and body weight movements.

Wednesday - 18.00 – 18.45- CARDIO & CORE

Utilising various cardio and Ab exercises along with our own body weight , Cardio Core N Tone will help shape and tone not only your midriff section but your whole body!

Blast away boredom with this high-energy workout that builds & sculpts muscle as well as improves core strength & endurance.

Thursday - 13.00-13.45 - YOGA PILATES FUSION

HEALTH, WELL-BEING & AVOIDING INJURY

William Fry or Fit For Life shall not be liable to any person for any damage or injury however caused arising from the presence in or use of the gymnasium.

If you are unsure of your medical wellbeing, or if you have a recent injury, please consult your Doctor before using this facility.

If you feel breathless or dizzy, stop using the equipment immediately.

In the case of an accident or problem with the machinery, please contact the Gym Manager at [email protected]

Medical questions should be directed to any first aider listed by the telephone. In the event of an accident you must complete an ACCIDENT REPORT FORM and submit this to Facilities.

CHANGING ROOMS

The Ladies and Gents changing rooms are equipped with showers and a hairdryer. When you are using these facilities please bear in mind that there are a lot of people using them on a daily basis, so please remove all of your belongings after you have finished.


Towel service is provided so please leave your used towels in the laundry basket provided.

HEALTH, WELL-BEING & AVOIDING INJURY

IStereo/TV

There is a stereo and TV provided for your convenience. Please do not have the Stereo so loud that it is disturbing anyone at work.

Other things to remember

  • There is  paper towels and spray solution provided for you to wipe down the equipment after use.

  • Please carry a towel in the gym at all times.

  • When using the mats or free weights, put them back after use.

  • No food should be brought into the gym at any time.

  • Use the correct footwear at all times, do not work out in the gym in bare feet.

  • It is mandatory to wear flip flops in the shower for hygiene/safety purposes.

  • Please keep the gym and changing rooms tidy at all times.

  • There is a cctv camera in the gym for health and safety purposes.
