AMD is delighted to offer a great on site gym to employees.

Managed by our vendor partners Fit For Life* we have an on-site Fitness and Wellbeing Coach who will be in the gym for 17 hours per week to help you with anything to do with fitness and health related issues.

OPENING TIMES

The gym is open from 06:00 - 21:00 Monday to Friday .

HOW TO JOIN

In order to join the gym, you must attend for a 30 minute induction course. Once you have attended an Induction your Access Card will be activated for access to the gym.  To get started all you have to do is set up an account on the online system. Please follow these simple steps:

Scroll down the schedule until you find

‘JOIN THE GYM- INDUCTION TRAINING’

Click ‘Details’, then ‘Book’

Select the ‘register’ button

Read and agree to the participation waiver

TAILORED FITNESS PROGAMMES

ONCE OFF PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION

Get the most of your time in the gym! Following the initial induction, our expericenced coaches will customize an exercise programme that fits in with your particular requirements, desires and goals. 

We will demonstrate each exercise and have you perform it yourself so we can make sure you are completing each exercise with the correct technique and weight load.

(Home programmes are also available)

We recommend you refresh your programme every 4 to 5 weeks with us to ensure you are always progressing.

6 WEEK KICK START PROGRAM

This takes the once off session to the next level. We will start by helping you to set personal goals and targets.

Your Fitness and Wellbeing coach will work with you through the 40 minute exercise programme once a week for 6 weeks to keep your motivation and skills at the right level. We will also advise you and help you with a healthy eating plan if you require this.

Finally, you'll be sent weekly emails to keep you motivated with easy to follow tasks/habits to do each week.

After the 6 weeks are over, you get a plan to complete on your own with a monthly check to update your plan and measure your progress.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to avail of the kickstart programme you will need to book 6 seperate sessions over 6 weeks.  Please select the same time and day each week that suits you.

Available Every Second Thursday - from May 1st

Nina offers a range of massage therapies tailored to support relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being:

Reflexology applies pressure to specific points on the feet, known as reflexes, which correspond to different organs and systems in the body. This holistic therapy promotes deep relaxation, relieves stress and anxiety, improves sleep, increases energy levels, and supports overall well-being.


Health Insurance Coverage

Many health insurance plans cover massage therapy and reflexology, allowing you to claim back costs depending on your policy.

Be sure to check your plan details to see if you qualify for reimbursement.

HEALTH, WELL-BEING & AVOIDING INJURY

AMD or Fit For Life shall not be liable to any person for any damage or injury however caused arising from the presence in or use of the gymnasium.

If you are unsure of your medical wellbeing, or if you have a recent injury, please consult your Doctor before using this facility.

If you feel breathless or dizzy, stop using the equipment immediately.

In the case of an accident or problem with the machinery, please contact the Tirlán facilities department.

Medical questions should be directed to any first aider listed by the telephone. In the event of an accident you must complete an ACCIDENT REPORT FORM and submit this to Facilities.
