The Xilinx Corporate Gym is open to all employees. It is open from 06.00 to 21.00 Monday to Friday and closed on the weekend.
In our gym we have an excellent range of both Cardio Vascular and Resistance training equipment.
In order to use this facility you simply have to attend a Gym Induction. This session takes approximately 20/25 minutes and the instructor will run through the rules and regulations of the facility and demonstrate how to use the equipment. You will also be required to sign the Xilinx Acknowledgement of Exclusion of liability and the Fit For Life screening forms.

In addition to the equipment we run a number of classes weekly sponsored by the Sports and Social Club. Please contact the Sports & Social Club for an updated schedule.

GENERAL HOUSE RULES
The Ladies and Gents changing rooms are equipped showers and a hairdryer. When you are using these facilities please bear in mind that there are a lot of people using them on a daily basis and so please remove all of your belongings after you have finished. Please do not leave wet towels there to dry, pack them into your bags as you are leaving and leave the space clean for others to use it after you.
There is a stereo provided for your convenience, you can bring in CDs to play on the Stereo, but you are responsible for taking care of the CDs while they are in the gym. Please do not have the Stereo so loud that it is disturbing anyone at work.
Other things to remember
There will be paper towels and water containers provided for you to wipe down the equipment after you have used it. Please carry a towel at all times.When using the ‘stretching’ mats, put them back after use.No food should be brought into the gym at any time.Use the correct footwear at all times, do not workout in the gym in bare feet.It is mandatory to wear flip flops in the shower for hygiene/safety puposesWhen using the gym you must sign in and out of the book providePlease keep the gym and changing rooms tidy at all times

If you exercise regularly and want some ideas of how you can step up your training or perhaps you’ve hit a plateau, then this is the session for you.
After an initial consultation a customized exercise programme is designed at meeting your particular requirements, desires and goals. We demonstrate each exercise and have you perform it yourself so we can make sure you are completing each exercise with the correct technique.

This takes the one off to a different level. Here’s what it’s all about:
This simple step-by-step programme is guaranteed to get you the body of your dreams faster than you ever thought possible. If you’d like to finally get in shape, feel more energetic, and look great without spending hours in the gym then join up to our individualized 6 week 1:1 Kick Start Programme.
We will start by helping you to set personal goals and targets. Your personal trainer will work with you through the 45 minute exercise programme once a week for 6 weeks to keep your motivation and skills right up.
After the 6 weeks are over, you get a plan to complete on your own with a monthly check to update your plan and measure your progress.
