Group exercise is still one of the most motivating facets of the fitness industry, but it has to put on different hats and experiment with different types of classes.

If you don’t have the space for a full fitness suite we can easily use a large seminar or conference room to cater for any of the exercise classes we have on offer. All classes can be run in 6 to 8 week courses.

Core Control

This class is specifically designed to strengthen that problem middle area, helping to improve posture and flexibility, which intern prevents and even eliminates back pain. Using different variations to the traditional abdominal crunch and some Pilates style exercises, this class will help you on your way to a tone, lean mid section.

Zumba/Cardio Salsa

This Cardio Salsa workout gives you a spicy hot, fun-filled, energetic workout. This well-designed program keeps you burning body fat as you dance to live Latin drums. Salsa, Meringue, Samba and Cha-Cha steps highlight these high-energy aerobic dance patterns, taught one step at a time, then building gradually into combinations. The dancing is fast moving but not difficult to learn. Highly recommended for aerobic dance fans who want to spice up their workouts with a Latin flavor.

A high-energy workout including a great mix of upper, lower & middle body segments, interval led with powerful non-choreographed cardio cycles of skipping, running, rowing and plyometrics. Blast away boredom while you shape & sculpt your muscles as well as improve your strength & endurance. You are at your own station for the so you can work at your own pace.

Pilates exercise strengthens your back, strengthens your abdominal area and improves posture. It is excellent for muscle toning and is truly a fantastic cross trainer for athletes and cardio junkies!! Medical experts recommend it to help prevent back pain. Benefits include:

Pregnancy Yoga

Yoga is the ideal exercise for pregnant woman. It is widely recommended by midwives and doctors to expectant mothers as a way of keeping fit and mobile. Classes are suitable from 15 weeks onwards. The classes consist of breath work, relaxation, postures, movements, and meditations suited to all stages of pregnancy from 15 weeks to term. Pregnancy yoga enhances the vitality, mobility, general health and emotional well-being of the expectant mother; it also provides a valuable quiet space in which to form a bond with the unborn child and to prepare for birth. No yoga experience is needed.

Freestyle Fitness Yoga

This class is a contemporary mix of Yoga & Pilates exercises designed to increase flexibility, strength and core stability. It is not a spiritual experience but mimics Yoga in its breathing style offering postures that are both challenging and relaxing.
FFY is excellent for muscle toning and is truly a fantastic cross trainer for athletes and cardio junkies!! All levels welcome.
